When it comes to stone countertop finishes, there are an array of options to choose from, each with its own unique appeal. Whether you opt for a polished, honed, caressed or leathered finish, each choice provides its own special touch that will enhance your space’s overall style and atmosphere

Thickness Options

When it comes to choosing stone countertops, one crucial decision you'll face is the thickness of the countertop edge. While most people may not give it much thought, the edge thickness can greatly impact the overall aesthetic and feel of your kitchen or bathroom. Luckily, there are several options available to suit different design preferences and functionality needs.

Edge Types

We offer 8 edge types. Once you choose a design and material, complete your plan by selecting a height and edge. Please note that not all edge profiles may be available, check with us for available options.

Magic City Granite | Natural Stone Edge Type, marble, granite, quartzite, quartz

Demi Bullnose

Softly rounded on the top edge. Additionally referred to as ½ Bullnose, Demi Bullnose, or a ¼ Round.

Crescent

Both the top and bottom edges are eased with a radiused front face.

Beveled

This angled edge is often called a Bevel.

Ogee

Our thinnest ogee profile. Also called a Saskatoon Ogee or Short Ogee.

Full Bullnose

Deeply rounded at the top and bottom of the edge, this profile is sometimes also called a Bullnose or Full Bullnose.

Chiseled

For a natural, rustic appearance, choose this hand-finished profile often named Chiseled, Broken Edge, or Rock Face.

Eased

This simple, yet bold profile has a 1/8 radius.

Mitered

The mitered edge is an edge assembled from two pieces to give a countertop with less weight the appearance of a much heavier one.

We were looking for quartz countertops for our new build. When we drove up to the Magic City Granite business, I immediately fell in love with the FIRST piece we saw -- Cambria Brittanicca.
